Scout Leaders Needed

  • 2 min read

Pack 24 Cub Scouts and Troop 24 Scouts are looking for additional adult leaders. Our program has experienced tremendous growth since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are looking to expand our leadership team.

Many of our current leaders have been serving the boys for decades. While this has been an incredibly rewarding experience, several key leaders have shared that they plan to step down over the coming months. We are seeking parents and other adults who are willing to help carry on this long-standing ministry by taking on leadership roles within our Pack and Troop.

Positions Available:

Cubmaster – Our current Cubmaster will step down at the end of the calendar year and is eager to mentor the next Cubmaster.

Den Leaders – We need leaders for our Tiger (1st Grade) and Wolf (2nd Grade) dens. New dens can only be formed if parents volunteer to lead them.

Popcorn Kernel – Coordinate our annual popcorn sale, the Pack’s largest fundraiser.

Monthly Activities Coordinator – Plan, schedule, and coordinate monthly activities for the Pack.

Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters – Our current Scoutmaster will step down at the end of the calendar year and will help transition new leaders into these roles.

All leadership positions will begin with the 2026–2027 school year.

I am entering my 30th year as a Scout leader at Saint Paul of the Cross, and I have seen firsthand how much our program benefits young people. Since 1931, our Pack and Troop have helped generations of boys grow in character, leadership, faith, and service.

Please consider joining us for the upcoming school year. We would love to welcome you to our leadership team. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact:
