St. Paul of the Cross

Missionary Cooperation Plan

July 26 and 27, 2025

For over 35 years, the US-China Catholic Association (USCCA) has been a part of a shared journey of faith, gratitude, and learning between Catholics in China and Catholics in the United States, who are living the Good News of Jesus Christ. USCCA Mission Appeal speaker, Fr. Hugh O’Donnell, C.M. will share stories of building bridges of friendship and dialogue with the people of China, work rooted in a partnership with Chinese Catholics that began in the early 1900s, with the St. Paul of the Cross parishioners, on the weekend of July 26 and 27.

These stories of faith unite our parishioners with the experiences of their Catholic brothers and sisters in China. Through encounters with the USCCA Book Club, Public Lectures, USCCA website communications and biennial conferences, we celebrate our common faith, shared struggles, and mutual hope. The photos and quotes below

remind us of the enduring friendship and dialogue that continue to sustain and strengthen the bond between Chinese Catholics and Catholics in the United States.

“…the conference illustrated the importance of direct dialogue between Chinese and American Catholics. It was a unique experience of fraternal communion and friendly dialogue across borders.”

“There were wonderful insights into the dedication of the Catholics supporting

Sino- Western friendship, the integrity and ecumenicity of the USCCA.”

To those who have joined us in this journey, whether by contributing to our Mission Appeals, attending our events, or praying with and for us, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Together, we can continue to foster mutual understanding and witness to the Gospel through participation in our initiatives, financial support, and prayerful

solidarity. Let us remain steadfast in our shared hope in Christ and our commitment to this mission of faith and friendship!
