Brookfield Zoo Christmas Tree Decorating by SPC Scouts

Thanks to SPC Parishioners for your support of Pack 24’s Popcorn sale and Troop 24’s Wreath Sale. We’ve had another successful year because of your support. Thanks again.

SPC has supported Scouts since 1931 and offers an active program for boys of the parish.

Scouts participated in the following activities in the 4th Quarter of 2025.

• Webelos Outdoor Weekend – camping in Wisconsin (October)

• Cubmobile Races – push cart racing (October)

• Haunted Hike at All Saints (October)

• Christmas Tree Decorating at Brookfield Zoo (November)

• Pack Hike at local Forest Preserve (November)

• Christmas Party – Ice Skating & Pizza at Oakton Sports Complex (December)

And next quarter (Winter 2026) we have a full slate as well:

• Snow Tubing at Wilmot (January)

• Ski Trip at Grand Geneva (January)

• Pinewood Derby car racing at SPC (February)

• Chicago Wolves game at Allstate Arena (February)

• Blue & Gold Crossover Dinner & Entertainment at Prospect Park (February)

• Kids Workshop at Niles Home Depot (March)

• Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg (March)

• Sleepover on a Submarine in Manitowoc, WI (March)

Both Pack 24 Cub Scouts and Troop 24 Boy Scouts also meet on Mondays for our weekly Den and Troop meetings (we work on Scout Skills and Advancements).

Come join us – we are always looking for new scouts (boys aged 7-17).

And we can’t do any of this without our adult leaders. We always need more leaders so we can continue to expand our program. Thanks to our current leaders (Chris Dymon, Mike Eller, Ken Kapst, Steve Knapp, Ken Kulas, Jonie Montalbano, Matt Staton).
