GriefShare is a biblical, Christ-centered program designed to help those grieving the death of a loved one. Each session features video seminars with respected grief experts and heartfelt stories from people who have experienced loss, followed by group discussions that provide comfort, support, and shared understanding.

Past participants have found the program to be deeply helpful and healing. Grieving can be a long and difficult journey—one that often continues even after friends and family return to their daily routines. Many people, including Christians, try to bury their grief instead of allowing God to work through it. GriefShare offers a safe, confidential space where you don’t have to walk through your grief alone.

Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, you’ll find encouragement, support, and practical guidance. The program is open to anyone grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family member, or friend.

A $30 donation is appreciated to help cover the cost of materials and operating expenses. For more information or to register, please contact Kathy O’Toole Nowicki, Program Director, at irish1chgo@gmail.com, or call the rectory at 847-825-7605 and ask for Leni. You may also visit griefshare.org to learn more or register online.
