We are very proud to share the good news of our parish’s successful 2025 Christmas Care Bag Project with you. Thanks to your kind generosity, St. Paul of the Cross Church provided warm scarves, hats, gloves, and socks to 1,300 homeless and less fortunate men and women during the Christmas season. Your care bags went to the following charities:

Sunday Night Suppers / Park Ridge Presbyterian Church

Salvation Army – Norridge

Salvation Army – Evangeline Booth Lodge, Chicago

Vietnam Veterans of America Chicago Chapter 242 – VFW Niles

Messiah Lutheran Church Soup Kitchen, Park Ridge

Center of Concern, Des Plaines

Dr. Pat Angelo / Angel of Lower Wacker Drive

St. Stanislaus Kostka / St. Mary’s Friday Night Suppers, Chicago

Exodus World Service, Park Ridge

WINGS Program, Inc., Chicago

Avenues to Independence, Park Ridge

We send our sincere thanks to everyone who donated bags and helped us accomplish this wonderful project again this year, including Fr. James Wallace, his office/maintenance staff and church ushers; Anna Mae Parkhill and Jackie Lifton of the Office of Catechesis; School Principal James White and teacher Ryan Stauffer; and the many student volunteers who helped us gather, sort, and carry the bags.
