Catechetical Sunday

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me… to bring good news to the poor” (Lk 4:18) is the theme for Catechetical Sunday. This year’s passage becomes a model for the Church, us, which is called to continue Christ’s work by sharing the Good News and caring for those most in need.

Each year, the third Sunday in September is a day to recognize the work of our catechists. Our volunteers are a gift to our parish family as they pass on the faith to our children.

St. Paul’s Catechesis classrooms are possible only because of the generous time and talent our Coordinators, Catechists, Hall Monitors and Class Aides give to our program each year!
