BULLETIN
CONTRIBUTE TO OUR BULLETIN
Our weekly bulletin is one of our most highly valued communication tools here at St. Paul of the Cross. In addition to including upcoming schedules, events, and opportunities, we also learn more about our rich history, about God's word, and about each other!
Aside from published early submission deadlines, bulletin content should always be emailed to spcbulletin@spc-church.org two Fridays before that Sunday's bulletin. Our submission deadline for our January 26th issue is Friday, January 17th and the submission deadline for our February 2nd issue is Friday, January 24th.
Below is a list of ways you might consider contributing to an upcoming bulletin.
We'd love to hear from you!
Page 4 of our bulletin includes a weekly reflection. It might be from Fr. Nick or one of our Deacons, a seminarian, staff member, ministry leader, or perhaps even a parishioner. Anyone who is a part of our parish community is always welcome to submit a reflection for consideration. The reflection should be pertinent to that particular Sunday's gospel/reading (Mass readings can be found here), or it might be relevant to the liturgical season we are in. Please reach out to spcbulletin@spc-church.org so we can work to fit you into our schedule.
Reflections must be no more than 350 words in length and include a photo that somehow relates to the article or author.
SUBMIT A WEEKLY REFLECTION
We would love to hear from you regarding your experience in our Adoration Chapel. How might you be blessed through your time with Jesus? Please share your reflection, or perhaps you are inspired to write a poem or prayer, etc. Reflections should be roughly 350 words. Send it electronically to spcbulletin@spc-church.org or place it in the collection box in the Adoration Chapel entrance. Blank forms may also be found in our Adoration Chapel.
SUBMIT AN ADORATION CHAPEL REFLECTION
ARTWORK should be roughly 7-7/8” long by 5-1/4” wide with a slight border that could be cropped if necessary (i.e., do not let your artwork go to the edges because we may have to crop it to make it fit the cover space). Artwork should be inspired by a particular gospel/reading for the week it is submitted. Please provide inspiration verse with artwork.
PHOTOS should reflect our SPC campus/community
