We have many opportunities for individuals and families to serve the needs of our parish and our community. Please fill out the form below and tell us which ministries you would like to be involved in and we will be sure you get connected to the right people.

Aid for Women: Baby Items Collection

Through Friday, December 1

Please help expectant mothers in need by donating the items listed below in the bins in church.

Here are the items which are most in need:

* Baby clothes, sizes newborn through 12 months (neutral, girls and boy colors, all season)

* Receiving blankets

* Burp cloths and bibs

* Hooded baby towels and washcloths

* Baby books and toys

* Diapers, sizes 1 through 4

* Baby wipes

* Baby toiletries (shampoo, body wash, lotion)

About Aid for Women:  Aid for Women was founded in 1978 on the faith and teachings of the Catholic Church.  Aid for Women helps thousands of women each year in the Chicago metropolitan area who find themselves facing unexpected and difficult pregnancies. Each woman is provided with the emotional, practical and spiritual support she needs to choose life for her unborn baby and to provide a better future for her and her child. Aid for Women operates five local pregnancy help centers and two residential programs

Annual St. Nick Party

Saturday - Sunday, December 2-3

Help the AOW as they set-up, run, and clean up this fun parish event. Volunteer for service hours or just to join the fun of it!


The following shifts are available:


Saturday, December 2: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. set-up


Sunday, December 3: 9:45 a.m. - 12 p.m. event


Sunday, December 3: 11:45 - 2 p.m. clean-up

Donut Sunday

Have a gift for hospitality?

The Hospitality Committee invites you to join them in helping to serve fellow parishioners on the first Sunday of each month for Donut Sunday! This ministry provides opportunities for parishioniers to meet and enjoy fellowhsip following the Sunday morning Masses. Interested in serving or have questions? Please contact Paula Almquist

Feed Those in Need - Timothy Ministry

Servants of St. Francis: Suburban Outreach

Sunday, January 14

Join others from St. Paul of the Cross to feed those in need at Timothy's Ministry in Arlington Heights by either volunteering to serve at the luncheon and/or preparing or buying a dish to be served. Registration is required

  • Food Donations accepted at St. Paul of the Cross, Kinane Center 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
  • Luncheon 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
