Liturgical Ministry
The various Liturgical Ministries at St. Paul of the Cross give people the opportunity to more directly participate in our celebration of the Eucharist, to have personal encounters with fellow parishioners, and to grow in their own spiritual life.

Lectors
Lectors are "Ministers of the Word" who proclaim the word of God at Mass. They bring our sacred scripture to life, giving voice to God's word. Lectors proclaim the first and second readings and lead the congregation in praying the Prayers of the Faithful (general intercessions). Training is offered approximately once yearly.
Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers are "Extraordinay Ministers of Holy Communion." They are laity who assist the "ordinary ministers" (those ordained, i.e., priests, deacons, bishops) in distributing the consecrated, precious Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. Training is offered approximately twice yearly.
